Shooting devices.
For shooting PV-26 with silver iodide (Fig. 1), aircrafts are equipped with shooting systems including the shooting control console and the containers with the cartridges with PV-26. The aircrafts Аn-26 and Аn-30 are equipped with systems АСО-2I "Veer" (Fig. 2). There are two pendant containers on aircrafts with beams for shooting PV-26 from both boards of the aircraft of total capacity 384 trunks.
The aircrafts Аn-72 are equipped with shooting systems UV-26 (Fig. 3). Two containers with cartridges of total capacity 768 trunks aboard are installed.
The aircrafts Аn-12 are equipped with shooting systems SKV-98-АСО-2IP (Fig. 4) and SKV-UV-26 of total capacity 768 and 512 trunks. These systems are installed inside the fuselage of the aircraft in a cargo cabin. Shooting process is made at open ramp. Distinctive feature of these systems is the opportunity to load them in flight. That allows to carry out cloud seeding practically during all time of flight.
The aircraft Il -18 is equipped with shooting system UV-26M (Fig. 5), installed under the fuselage of total capacity 512 trunks.
