Increase of visibility in fogs
As a result of long-term experimental and theoretical researches executed in Central Aerologic Observatory of Roshydromet, the effective Russian technology of dispersion of the overcooled fogs is developed with the purpose of improvement of visibility at the airports and on motorways and means, necessary for its realization. The Russian technology of dispersion of the overcooled fogs has passed approbation at the airports of Moscow, Kishinev, Mozdok, Alma-Ata and Mineral Waters, and since 1995 is successfully applied in skilled - industrial works on improvement of visibility on motorways and at the airports of northern Italy. The application of technology of dispersion of the overcooled fogs at the airports allows to increase visibility in a fog down to meanings allowing to make landing and starts of air courts. The increase of visibility in a fog on motorways essentially increases safety of movement.

before influence
in one hour after influence
The Russian technology of dispersion of fogs is based on influence on phase instability of the overcooled fog connected to long-term existence in it overcooled liquid droplet moisture. At introduction in the overcooled fog artificial ice embryonic particles begins the process of conversion water pair from supercooled drops to these elements because saturating an aqueous tension over ice less, than above water, because of what the overcooled drops of a fog evaporate, and chips of ice up to the large sizes grow and drop out of a fog.
The stationary and mobile generators of fine-dyspersated particles ice working on liquid nitrogen(N2) are applied to artificial improvement of visibility in the overcooled fogs. Introduction in the overcooled fog of liquid nitrogen (temperature of boiling -178C°) causes sharp local downturn of temperatures resulting in freezing of drops of a fog, taking place in this zone, that water pair from the overcooled drops on ice crystals, evaporation of drops and increase of visibility in a fog results in the beginning of process of conversion.
The stationary generators are used for improvement of visibility on landing strips at the airports and road outcomes on large highways. The generators are established around of protected objects in view of local meteorological conditions (rose of winds, local relief etc.). For remote control by stationary generators are developed automated and semiautomated control systems including a data-measuring complex, intended for the control and registration of parameters of an atmosphere necessary for acceptance of the decision on influence, network of stationary generators and system of remote control by generators.

For operative improvement of visibility on motorways the mobile generators of fine-dyspersated particles of ice working on liquid nitrogen are used.
